## 0.8.0-beta.1 - 2026-09-08
This release considerably extends what plugins can do: complete providers, custom components in the chat, slash commands, settings screens, and agent lifecycle hooks.
The plugin API has a breaking change. Plugins now use separate client and server entries and runtime-owned SDK entry points, so plugins written for 0.7 must follow the [migration guide](https://paseo.sh/docs/plugins/v0.8/migration) before they load on 0.8.
It also fixes regressions across desktop updates, mobile, Import session, and agent lifecycle.
