* fix(git): return checkout diff hunks from subdirectory workspaces

Checkout paths are repository-relative, but one-shot diff reads used the workspace subdirectory for Git pathspecs. Resolve the worktree root once so patch selection and file reads use the same coordinates as the live subscription.

* test(server): await bounded discard fixture cleanup on Windows

The discard assertions pass but Windows can retain a directory lock during cleanup. Await asynchronous removal with bounded retries after daemon shutdown, preserving failure for persistent locks. Matches the verified cleanup correction in #6912 for #6918.
