- Removing auto_accept (OpenCode, ACP) turns live approval off; ACP selects return to their session default. - agent.create.before hook featureValues edits override options the create already set. - Claude commits fast_mode only after the runtime accepts it. - Codex snapshots show a saved Fast preference as the tier the model resolves it to (AgentSession.displayOptions). - Profiles are folded into options in the daemon config store; the config API still answers with featureValues. - Snapshot options and provider.controls.list carry all effective options. - Test: Claude fast_mode survives a restart through stored providerOptions.
