Bundle a `hoplite-provider` plugin that registers the `hoplite` provider through the plugin SDK's ACP shim over `hoplite acp`, with the official Hoplite mark as its icon. A narrow transformer turns Hoplite's `_hoplite/run_phase` provisioning notifications into one in-place "Hoplite workspace" timeline row per run. Add Hoplite to the ACP provider catalog next to Devin, with the same mark, so daemons without the bundled plugin can still install it over ACP. The catalog hides the entry wherever the built-in is registered. Document setup, project selection (`HOPLITE_PROJECT_ID`), and limits, and add a real-provider daemon E2E that runs when `HOPLITE_E2E_CWD` points at a repository linked to a Hoplite project. Supported providers
For the concept and how Paseo manages providers, see Providers. To add or configure your own, see Custom providers.
Native support
Work out of the box once the underlying CLI is installed and authenticated.
- Claude Code. Anthropic's coding agent with MCP support, streaming, and deep reasoning.
- Codex. OpenAI's workspace agent with sandbox controls and optional network access.
- OpenCode. Open-source coding assistant with multi-provider model support.
- Pi. Minimal terminal-based coding agent with multi-provider LLM support.
- Antigravity. Uses your installed
agyCLI through a built-in provider plugin. - Muse Code. Meta's terminal coding agent, bundled as a provider plugin.
- Hoplite. Uses your installed
hopliteCLI through a built-in provider plugin.
Antigravity
Install the Antigravity CLI (agy) on your daemon host, then run agy once to sign in. Pick
Antigravity in Paseo. The provider ships with Paseo; no separate plugin install is required.
Full access is the only permission mode. Antigravity cannot ask for permission when another
app drives it, so Paseo starts agy with --dangerously-skip-permissions. Every tool call,
including shell commands, runs without asking. Each session starts with a warning explaining
this, including when you reopen a chat. Antigravity's own policy can still deny
an action.
After a daemon restart, Antigravity remembers the conversation, but Paseo's transcript starts
fresh because agy does not replay its history.
This integration uses your installed CLI and sign-in. It is not endorsed by Google.
Paseo MCP tools and steering are unavailable. Your own agy MCP servers still work. Attached
images are passed as file references for the agent to read.
If agy is outside your daemon's PATH, override its command in ~/.paseo/config.json. Use env
for provider-specific environment variables:
{
"agents": {
"providers": {
"antigravity": {
"command": ["/absolute/path/to/agy"],
"env": { "EXAMPLE_VARIABLE": "value" }
}
}
}
}
See Custom providers for command and environment overrides.
Hoplite
Install the Hoplite CLI on your daemon host with brew install carboncopyinc/tap/hoplite, then run
hoplite login. Pick Hoplite in Paseo. The provider ships with Paseo and talks to Hoplite
through hoplite acp; no separate plugin install is required.
Hoplite runs the agent in a cloud workspace for a Hoplite project. The project comes from the
GitHub repository of the agent's directory, so open a repository that is linked to a Hoplite
project. In any other directory Hoplite reports No Hoplite project, and the Hoplite row in
Settings → Providers shows that error for the daemon's own directory. To use one project
everywhere, set its ID:
{
"agents": {
"providers": {
"hoplite": {
"env": { "HOPLITE_PROJECT_ID": "your-project-id" }
}
}
}
}
Models come from your Hoplite organization. While Hoplite prepares the workspace, the chat shows one Hoplite workspace row with the current step. Conversations resume after a daemon restart. Paseo MCP tools are unavailable because the agent runs in Hoplite's workspace, not on your host; Hoplite's own tools, including its subagents, still work.
Override command if hoplite is outside your daemon's PATH. Keep acp in the arguments.
