The rename is adapter-specific, so it lives where the provider id resolves to its adapter: AgentManager converts an agent's own options on create, resume, import, reload, apply and draft controls, following derivedFromProviderId, so a custom provider extending codex keeps working with a saved or requested fast_mode. Storage, MCP, schedules, hub and profiles pass options through. The featureValues-to-options fold stays provider-agnostic at the legacy edges.
