Popovers on Android landed one status bar below their trigger. React Native 0.86 stopped subtracting the status bar from window coordinates under edge-to-edge, so measureInWindow, touch pageY and a full-screen Modal already share screen-top coordinates; the old StatusBar.currentHeight compensation in the menu engine, tooltip, context menu and sidebar long-press now double-shifted every anchor. Compact tabs keep their natural width and the rail scrolls as soon as they overflow, instead of squeezing labels first and then scrolling anyway. They drop the inline close because the long-press sheet already closes a tab and a narrow X beside the label is easy to hit. Any scrolling rail keeps natural widths rather than collapsing every chip to the minimum, and the rail resets its offset when scrolling ends so tabs scrolled out of view come back. The Explorer rail paints the sidebar surface, so its chips climb the sidebar hover and selected tokens. Light themes paint the sidebar with surface2, which made the surface2 active chip invisible there. The compact Explorer closes with the same X as the compact agent list, and the compact + menu omits Diff because compact Changes already shows diffs inline.
Welcome to your Expo app 👋
This is an Expo project created with create-expo-app.
Get started
-
Install dependencies
npm install -
Start the app
npx expo start
In the output, you'll find options to open the app in a
- development build
- Android emulator
- iOS simulator
- Expo Go, a limited sandbox for trying out app development with Expo
You can start developing by editing the files inside the app directory. This project uses file-based routing.
Get a fresh project
When you're ready, run:
npm run reset-project
This command will move the starter code to the app-example directory and create a blank app directory where you can start developing.

Dictation debugging
Set EXPO_PUBLIC_ENABLE_AUDIO_DEBUG=1 before running npx expo start to render the in-app audio debug card. Pair it with the server-side STT_DEBUG_AUDIO_DIR flag so every dictation includes a copyable path to the saved raw audio file.
