Creating a workspace blocks on one RPC while the daemon runs `git worktree add` plus branch and forge resolution. If you switch to another workspace during that wait, the response navigates anyway, and `navigateToHostWorkspaceRoute` does a stack pop that yanks you off the workspace you deliberately went to. Auto-navigation now only fires if you are still on the same New workspace screen. Creation itself is untouched: the workspace, the agent, and the terminal are all created either way. `create_agent` is normally issued by the draft tab once it mounts on the destination screen, so suppressing the navigation would also suppress the agent. The suppressed path issues the request itself and writes no pending entry to the draft-submission or create-flow stores, which is what keeps a later visit from creating a second agent — the daemon does not dedupe `create_agent` by `clientMessageId`. The agent and terminal tabs open on their own when the workspace is next visited, since `reconcileTabs` auto-opens agents and standalone terminals. Nothing navigating also means nothing unmounts the screen, so both paths now release `pendingAction` themselves.
Welcome to your Expo app 👋
This is an Expo project created with create-expo-app.
Get started
-
Install dependencies
npm install -
Start the app
npx expo start
In the output, you'll find options to open the app in a
- development build
- Android emulator
- iOS simulator
- Expo Go, a limited sandbox for trying out app development with Expo
You can start developing by editing the files inside the app directory. This project uses file-based routing.
Get a fresh project
When you're ready, run:
npm run reset-project
This command will move the starter code to the app-example directory and create a blank app directory where you can start developing.

Dictation debugging
Set EXPO_PUBLIC_ENABLE_AUDIO_DEBUG=1 before running npx expo start to render the in-app audio debug card. Pair it with the server-side STT_DEBUG_AUDIO_DIR flag so every dictation includes a copyable path to the saved raw audio file.
