- Local STT via Sherpa (Zipformer/Paraformer) + Parakeet v3 (offline)
- Local TTS via Pocket TTS ONNX (onnxruntime-node) with chunked streaming
- Auto-download models into PASEO_HOME and add Node download script
- Add E2E download test that round-trips TTS->STT

- Install zx as devDependency for E2E testing
- Create tests/ directory with setup utilities
- Add setup.ts with test context helpers:
- Random port generation (never 6767)
- Temp directory creation for PASEO_HOME and workDir
- Daemon startup/waitForDaemon helper (WebSocket only)
- Cleanup function
- paseo() helper to run CLI commands against test daemon
- Add Phase 1 foundation tests (01-foundation.test.mts):
- Test paseo --version outputs version
- Test paseo --help shows commands
- Add test runner (run-all.mts) that discovers and runs all tests
- Add test:e2e script to package.json

Add auto-port dev script for worktree support
...
- Add scripts/dev.sh that finds available ports for daemon (6767+) and Metro (8081+)
- Runs both services via concurrently with colored output
- Sets PASEO_CORS_ORIGINS dynamically for the Metro port
- Sets EXPO_PUBLIC_DAEMONS to auto-configure app with daemon endpoint
- Add get-port-cli and concurrently as dev dependencies
- Rename npm run dev to use the script, add dev:server for daemon-only

...
- Add pino with pino-pretty for structured logging
- Create root logger in index.ts with child loggers per module
- Support log level via PASEO_LOG env var and config.json
- Support log format (pretty/json) via PASEO_LOG_FORMAT and config.json
- Replace all console.* in runtime code with appropriate log levels
- Scripts use process.stdout/stderr for output
- Error logging uses correct pattern: logger.error({ err }, msg)
