Keep browser evaluation working on strict-policy pages without shadowing page globals (#8973)
* fix(desktop): run browser_evaluate on pages whose CSP omits 'unsafe-eval' * test(desktop): browser_evaluate on pages that allow and forbid eval * test(desktop): e2e opens a page under a CSP without 'unsafe-eval' and evaluates on it * fix(desktop): preserve page globals in browser evaluation Define the supplied function outside every wrapper binding so strict-policy evaluation keeps the original page scope. Reveal collapsed navigation as a touch overlay on wide layouts (#8739)
* feat(app): swipe open collapsed tablet navigation Reuse the retained sidebar and mobile panel motion for a partial-width navigation overlay when the wide dock is hidden. Preserve the dock preference, project gestures through the sidebar width, and dismiss the overlay when revealing workspace content. Reset the animated frame width explicitly across dock transitions and keep the resize origin on the UI thread. Validated on Duo portrait and landscape, iPad portrait and landscape, iPhone full-width navigation, and browser sidebar interactions. Typecheck, lint, targeted formatting, and 31 relevant tests passed. Co-authored-by: Elsa Granger <zeyugao@outlook.com> * fix(app): refine touch navigation overlays Enable navigation swipes only on touch-capable runtimes and reject mouse and pen input per gesture event. Allow swiping from anywhere in the workspace instead of requiring an edge start. Cover the full application window with the backdrop, including safe-area padding, and remove the wide overlay's inline close button. Preserve swipe, backdrop, and destination-selection dismissal. Validated interior swipes on Duo and iPad, mouse exclusion in a browser, and full-window dimming and dismissal in Duo portrait and landscape. Typecheck, lint, and targeted formatting passed. Co-authored-by: Elsa Granger <zeyugao@outlook.com> * refactor(app): let the panel store drop the overlay target on dock Docking the sidebar, or any layout that no longer presents it as an overlay, now drops the transient agent-list target inside the panel store. App chrome publishes one left sidebar presentation (overlay, dock, hidden) instead of an effect in SidebarChrome watching flags. Co-authored-by: Elsa Granger <zeyugao@outlook.com> * refactor(app): answer fine pointer and touch screen from one module Merge use-fine-pointer and use-has-touch-screen into hooks/pointer-capabilities, which reads both answers from the media queries it subscribes to. The touch answer now comes from (any-pointer: coarse) instead of navigator.maxTouchPoints, which that query's change events never reported. Co-authored-by: Elsa Granger <zeyugao@outlook.com> * fix(app): keep the phone web drawer on its edge swipe Restore the 32px left-edge start for the compact web navigation drawer, so interior rightward swipes over terminals, code blocks, and diffs stay with their horizontal scrollers. The wide navigation overlay still opens from anywhere. The edge rule moves into resolveMobilePanelGestureIntent so both drawers share it and it has a test. Co-authored-by: Elsa Granger <zeyugao@outlook.com> * refactor(app): one sidebar handler per destination Settings, host settings, add host, add project, and every navigation row now use one handler that closes the navigation overlay before it navigates. Closing is idempotent, so the docked sidebar shares it and the overlay ? mobile : desktop handler pairs go away. Co-authored-by: Elsa Granger <zeyugao@outlook.com> * refactor(app): resolve the left panel width in one place MobilePanelsProvider now resolves the left sidebar width (full window on compact, the saved width clamped to the safe viewport on wide) and exposes it through the panel runtime. The open and close gestures, the overlay frame, and the docked sidebar all read that value, so gesture travel and panel width cannot disagree. MobileGestureWrapper no longer recomputes it, and the panelWidth/width parameters go away. Co-authored-by: Elsa Granger <zeyugao@outlook.com> * docs: fold the wide navigation overlay into the mobile panel rules Move the facts the overlay PR appended into the sections that own them: the destinations intro, store ownership of the agent-list target, the projection widths, gesture pointer and edge rules, and the sidebar presentation bullets. Co-authored-by: Elsa Granger <zeyugao@outlook.com> * fix(app): keep the sidebar pans live across dock and overlay switches On an Android tablet, opening the dock with the header toggle and collapsing it again left the touch swipe unable to open the overlay until the app reloaded. Swipe-to-close from the sidebar also stopped working after the same toggle cycle. Both pans took the dock/overlay state through RNGH's `.enabled()`. On Android, RNGH 2.32 cancels the native handler when `isEnabled` changes and resets its config on every update. After a false -> true flip the handler stayed inert. `.enabled()` now carries only the device capability (touch screen present), which does not change at runtime. The dock/overlay state moves to a UI-thread derived value that fails the gesture in onTouchesDown, next to the existing non-touch pointer check. The wide sidebar's workspace list now always receives the close gesture ref, as the compact sidebar already does. Toggling it between undefined and the ref rewired the list's simultaneous handlers on every dock switch, and that also left the close pan dead after a toggle cycle. This is a native RNGH handler behavior, so there is no unit repro. It was verified on the Android fold emulator: toggle open, toggle closed, swipe opens the overlay, swipe on an empty sidebar strip closes it, no reload. Co-authored-by: Elsa Granger <zeyugao@outlook.com> * fix(app): keep the workspace full width after collapsing the dock On an Android tablet, opening the dock with the header toggle and collapsing it again could leave the workspace at the docked width, with a blank strip on the right, until the overlay was next opened. Elsa's original head showed the same. The sidebar's panel host flips between an in-flow dock and an absolute overlay. Its width came from a Reanimated style that read the React `overlay` flag, so the width reached the native view on the UI thread after React had already committed the new presentation. Layout logs on the fold emulator show the lag on every toggle-open: the workspace laid out at width 0 while the docked host still had the overlay's full window width, then a second pass laid out the 320dp dock. When the late update was lost on collapse, the workspace kept its dock width. The host no longer has a width of its own: - The dock sizes to the inner sidebar view, which already carries the animated resize width. - The overlay host is absoluteFill, which covers the whole row including the safe-area padding. With no animated layout prop on the host, a presentation switch is one React commit, and the host and the workspace lay out in the same pass. Device evidence on the fold emulator: - Toggle open and collapse cycles: the host and the workspace lay out together (320/521dp, then 841/841dp). - A swipe opens the 320dp overlay with a full-window backdrop, and a swipe on the sidebar closes it. - Dragging the dock edge still resizes the dock and the workspace together. There is no unit repro: the defect is the ordering of Reanimated's UI-thread layout updates against React commits. Co-authored-by: Elsa Granger <zeyugao@outlook.com> * fix(app): cancel pending sidebar swipes when docking An opening swipe still has the agent target until release. Leaving overlay presentation must advance its revision even then, so motion ownership and queued commits reject the obsolete swipe. Co-authored-by: Elsa Granger <zeyugao@outlook.com> * fix(app): keep mouse selection free of the touch-only pan's capture On a touch-capable browser the navigation pan registers pointer listeners over the whole workspace. Gesture Handler's web pointer manager captured the pressed element before the handler saw the pointer, and captured it again on every move, so a mouse drag that the pan rejects stayed captured and the browser's selection stopped at the starting paragraph. The patched manager now captures after pointer-down, and only a pointer the handler still tracks. The resize handle and touch swipes keep capturing. Co-authored-by: Elsa Granger <zeyugao@outlook.com> * fix(app): drop the compact Explorer target when the layout widens Opening the Explorer on a compact layout selects the `file-explorer` mobile panel target. Widening the window (unfolding a foldable, rotating a tablet) kept that target, because the store only heard the left sidebar presentation, which is `overlay` on both compact layouts and wide layouts with a collapsed dock. The navigation swipe begins only from `agent`, so on the wide layout every swipe was rejected until something else reset the target. App chrome now publishes the whole panel layout (compact or wide, plus the left sidebar presentation) and the store drops any target that layout does not present. Co-authored-by: Elsa Granger <zeyugao@outlook.com> * fix(app): keep wide overlay sidebar content inside the left safe area The overlay starts at the window's left edge, over the workspace's safe-area padding, so its content now takes the left inset itself. The dock already sits inside app chrome's padding and stays unchanged. Co-authored-by: Elsa Granger <zeyugao@outlook.com> * fix(app): return an interrupted swipe to its anchor when docking cancels it Docking mid-swipe bumps the panel revision while keeping the agent target. The command treated the unchanged target as motion already in progress and skipped the animation, leaving the dragged position stranded between anchors. A command that interrupts a drag now always animates to its target. Co-authored-by: Elsa Granger <zeyugao@outlook.com> * fix(app): synchronize startup panel selection and gate pending swipes A child layout effect can publish panel layout before the motion provider subscribes. Establish the current selection when subscribing, then observe later commands. Recheck presentation eligibility before gesture activation so docking also cancels touches that have not started dragging. Co-authored-by: Elsa Granger <zeyugao@outlook.com> * test(app): cover panel subscription through its public contract Verify initial snapshot delivery, later commands, and unsubscription directly in the existing panel-store suite instead of mounting test-only React components. Co-authored-by: Elsa Granger <zeyugao@outlook.com> * test(app): reopen compact navigation after leaving settings Destination navigation clears the transient overlay selection. Reopen the compact drawer before asserting its configured footer rather than relying on a stale open target surviving a wide layout. Co-authored-by: Elsa Granger <zeyugao@outlook.com> * test(app): open navigation by keyboard in composer focus checks Navigation pans intentionally reject mouse drags. Use the keyboard sidebar command to exercise focus and fullscreen Escape behavior without relying on the former mouse swipe helper. Co-authored-by: Elsa Granger <zeyugao@outlook.com> * fix(app): complete sidebar integration after main rebase Retain the resize width resolver and format the shared division-width and hybrid touch-sizing integration. Co-authored-by: Elsa Granger <zeyugao@outlook.com> * test(desktop): give split browser panes room for tab rails After #8740, narrow panes replace tab rails with compact dropdowns. The desktop browser journey counts and selects rail tabs, so widen the real Electron content window before splitting instead of treating missing narrow-pane rails as missing panes. Keep transcript colors in sync after a hidden theme change (#8199)
* fix(app): preserve adaptive theme events while hidden Read the current scheme through fresh matchMedia lists so hidden runtime reads do not consume the pending events on listener-owned lists. test(e2e): hide the developer error toast instead of clicking it away (#7480)
* test(e2e): hide the developer error toast instead of clicking it away The locator handler that dismissed #error-toast could match a toast that closed before its click; dispatchEvent then waited for the gone button until the test timed out. Keep Explorer consistent across phone, tablet and desktop layouts (#7424)
* Upgrade to Expo 57 and unify Explorer across layouts * feat(app): retain Explorer across layout and appearance changes Keep one workspace Explorer host and destination-aware navigation so folding, theme updates and compact sheets preserve the current panel. Scope pull request discovery and timeline demand to active surfaces. * fix(app): keep Explorer resize handles stretched through the dock The shared frame moved the divider into an absolute column, leaving its horizontal handle without height. Restore the row so pointer drags reach it, preserving the existing resize and performance contract. * fix(app): keep Explorer drag widths out of the shared stylesheet Carry the existing inline sizing policy into the shared frame so pointer previews do not accumulate CSS rules. * fix(test): align isolated test runtimes with Expo 57 Hoisted React consumers need the matching DOM renderer at the repository root. Automated Metro processes must not install native DevTools into disposable homes, and development toast overlays must not cover compact actions. Keep Explorer journeys on the shared host and synchronize setup fixtures on daemon output rather than a one-second file-marker window. A delayed real child start reproduces the readiness failure on every platform. * fix(test): await retained shell layout after composer resize The gesture host now stays mounted across breakpoints, so its presence no longer identifies compact layout. Report the current layout on the retained host and synchronize composer journeys with that state. * fix(app): preserve browser interactions in retained workspace hosts Initially disabled gesture hosts still registered pointer and wheel listeners, while hover cards used window positions inside a workspace-local sheet portal. Respect initial gesture enablement and position cards relative to their measured floating host. Keep developer-toast dismissal independent of pointer input and replacement toast visibility so modal, hover, and focus checks retain their input state. * fix(test): share developer toast handling with Electron browser runs The standalone Electron browser runner bypassed the browser fixture, allowing developer errors to cover Settings. Use the same non-pointer dismissal in both runners while retaining their console logs. |

feat(workspaces): add background visibility (#5039)
* feat(server): let clients create internal agents The daemon's own branch-name and commit-message generators run as internal agents: never persisted, listed, flagged, announced, or seen by plugin lifecycle hooks. Nothing outside the daemon could ask for one, because the wire config schema strips `internal` and the agent.create transform re-pins it. A plugin that runs a one-turn helper per event therefore left an archived session in History every time. Add an optional `internal` flag to `create_agent_request` (inherited by `agent.create.request`), copy it onto the config in the session's create path, and skip provider session persistence for it like the generators do. The client SDK forwards the flag on both creation paths and gates it once on `server_info.features.internalAgents`. Two daemon paths assumed every agent is public and had to follow: `resolveAgentIdentifier` now accepts a live agent by exact id, since the id set it matched against came from listings that exclude internal agents and left `wait_for_finish` answering "Agent not found"; and archiving an internal agent now closes it without writing the record that `registry.applySnapshot` used to leave behind, so `autoArchive` does not accumulate hidden files on disk. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(server): keep internal agents whole through failure, archive, and wait Review follow-ups for internal agents: - A create that fails after the runtime is registered now closes the internal agent before rethrowing, so a hidden runtime cannot outlive the failed request. Public agents keep today's behaviour. - Archiving an internal agent cascades to attached children like any parent. cascadeArchiveChildren takes the parent record instead of reading it back from storage, where an internal agent never is. - The archived snapshot and last message of an internal agent stay readable by exact id for ten minutes, so create-then-waitForFinish returns the finished turn whether the wait lands before or after an auto-archive. Storage plays that role for public agents. - The internal-agent e2e scenarios live in the existing create_agent_request lifecycle suite rather than a new file. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com> * fix(server): cascade to live internal children and keep a failed internal create's worktree until it closes Internal children never reach storage, so the parent archive cascade scans live agents for them as well. A failed internal create now clears the created id only after the runtime is archived, so worktree cleanup cannot delete the directory under a runtime that would not close. Stored agent payloads carry lastError, so a retained failed helper reports its error through wait_for_finish instead of the generic message. * feat(cli, mcp): expose internal agents and document --no-wait paseo run gains --internal and create_agent gains internal, both forwarded to the create request. --no-wait becomes the documented spelling for returning immediately, matching paseo send; --background and --detach stay as hidden aliases under COMPAT tags. * test: follow the --no-wait rename and stub getRetiredInternalAgent * feat: list internal agents on request and add internal workspaces Internal agents stay hidden by default, but a caller can now ask for them: `fetch_agents_request` takes `filter.includeInternal`, snapshots carry `internal: true`, and `paseo ls --internal` shows them in an INTERNAL column. The app never passes the flag. Workspaces get the same flag. `workspace.create.request` with `internal: true` persists a hidden workspace: listings, update subscriptions, sync reads, empty-project counting, open-by-path, MCP `list_workspaces`, and plugin workspace hooks all skip it unless the caller opts in with `filter.includeInternal`. Every agent created inside an internal workspace is internal and unpersisted; AgentManager applies that from the workspace id before the plugin hook so creators cannot opt out. Archive and shutdown enumerate internal agents so nothing inside an internal workspace outlives it. Surfaces: `paseo workspace create --internal`, `paseo workspace ls --internal`, `paseo run --internal --new-workspace`, MCP `create_workspace({ internal })`, SDK `workspaces.create({ internal })` and `list({ filter: { includeInternal } })`. Clients gate on `features.internalWorkspaces`. Co-Authored-By: Claude <noreply@anthropic.com> * feat(workspaces): add background visibility with inherited creation defaults * fix(cli): resolve workspace callers on the selected daemon * test(workspaces): keep caller integration coverage in server suite * test(cli): exercise workspace callers through CLI integration harness * test(mcp): remove obsolete execution flags from browser fixtures --------- Co-authored-by: marvin-ambrozio <marvin@gustavo.eng.br> Co-authored-by: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com> Co-authored-by: Mohamed Boudra <boudra.moha@gmail.com> |

fix(desktop): keep browser_type text out of the focused Paseo composer (#6207)
browser_type committed its text with CDP Input.insertText on the tab's debugger. Chromium commits that text into the focused element of the whole Paseo window, so when the user was typing in an agent composer and the browser tab did not hold focus, the agent's text landed in the composer instead of the page. Insert the text with the tab's own webContents.insertText, which commits into the tab's focused element regardless of window focus. fix(app): prevent and recover workspace layout crash loops (#4844)
* fix(app): prevent and recover workspace layout crash loops * fix(desktop): capture resized browser tabs without hanging A resident guest can paint fresh pixels after resize while capturePage's native surface-copy request remains pending. The same failed guest returns a fresh frame through frame subscription, so waiting for resize or another animation frame does not correct the failing copy request. Capture one subscribed frame within the existing five-second budget and release the subscription on completion or cancellation. Preserve temporary frame production and its original throttling policy. Remove viewport copy retries and E2E screenshot polling; assert the resized image dimensions. Refs #4866. Three full real-Electron browser journeys passed under Xvfb, including physical clicks and fresh screenshots while the window is hidden. * test(app): choose Agent before exercising the runtime catalog The newly merged catalog journey assumed an empty workspace opened an agent draft tab. This branch opens the New launcher, so create the agent draft tab explicitly before checking its composer and model choices. * fix: settle closed browser captures and validate persisted layout fixtures Destroying a guest during frame subscription left its screenshot pending until the capture deadline and blocked queued captures. Reject at destruction, remove the listener on every exit, and return browser_tab_closed. The regression proves immediate settlement and queue release. Reuse the unchanged persisted layout schema from a UI-independent module so the recovery fixture validates storage before editing it. * test(app): encapsulate Explorer layout setup and cleanup Keep persisted layout schemas and corrupted-state construction inside the seedCorruptedWorkspaceLayout helper. Use the existing withWorkspace fixture for cleanup in all four Explorer journeys so test bodies follow a straight setup, action and assertion flow. * test(app): target the selected workspace in layout recovery The corruption helper selected the first persisted entry, so a multi-workspace journey could leave the intended workspace untouched. Resolve its exact persistence key from the requested workspace ID and fail setup when absent. The failing-first journey now preserves an earlier workspace with an agent draft tab while recovering the selected workspace. |

fix(ci): consolidate E2E repairs and wait for Metro readiness (#4858)
* fix(desktop): wait for Metro HTTP readiness before launching Electron Expo briefly listens while probing port availability. A successful TCP connection can therefore launch Electron before Metro starts and leave it exiting on connection refusal. Require the configured renderer origin to report the running packager status. * test(ci): consolidate fixture and readiness corrections Await the connection and UI states each journey owns, isolate Git fixture contents before observation, and hold real Markdown frames at asserted checkpoints. Keep creation completion diagnostics explicit without claiming the original Windows failure is fixed. * test(desktop): describe Metro readiness through HTTP states Keep protocol mechanics in the fixture and assert readiness only after a successful packager response. Cover non-success status and unrelated HTTP content without inline synchronization in the test body. |

feat(plugins): split client and server plugin entries (#4206)
* feat(plugins): phase 1 split runtime entries after green gate The compiler now builds explicit client and server entries, so runtime boundaries are source-owned instead of registration-name filtering. Compiler and runtime tests prove the entry split, directory and suffix boundaries, client Node import errors, migration failure, and client-only operation without a subprocess. * feat(plugins): phase 2 run client entries after green gate Explicit client and server contexts replace the mixed plugin context. The app runner owns every client registration and its idempotent removal, including late contributions and composer pills; focused contribution tests prove the removal contract, and all five migrated examples reached running on the isolated worktree daemon. * feat(cli): phase 3 scaffold runtime split after green gate The generated project demonstrates the required shared RPC contract, server handler, client surface, and sidebar wiring. The scaffold test and an isolated init, typecheck, install, and running check prove the phase acceptance path. * docs(plugins): phase 4 publish migration after green gate Gate: current docs and the paseo-plugin skill describe only explicit client/server entries. The standalone migration guide maps every former registration, and migration-doc.test.ts proves every client add* method remains represented. * fixup! feat(plugins): phase 1 split runtime entries after green gate Gate: compiler 13, runtime 24, typecheck, lint, and format passed. The dependency fixture proved node_modules/client was incorrectly treated as a plugin boundary. * fixup! feat(plugins): phase 2 run client entries after green gate Gate: client runtime and registry tests, typecheck, lint, format * fixup! docs(plugins): phase 4 publish migration after green gate Gate: migration docs test, paragraph audit, typecheck, lint, format * fixup! feat(plugins): phase 1 split runtime entries after green gate Gate: compiler organization tests, typecheck, lint, targeted format * fixup! feat(plugins): phase 2 run client entries after green gate Gate: shared SDK tests, runtime tests, typecheck, lint, targeted format * fixup! feat(cli): phase 3 scaffold runtime split after green gate * fixup! docs(plugins): phase 4 publish migration after green gate * fixup! feat(plugins): phase 1 split runtime entries after green gate * docs(plugins): rewrite public plugin docs for runtime entries and mobile guardrails * fixup! feat(cli): phase 3 scaffold runtime split after green gate The scaffold now keeps DOM globals out of the program and declares only window.open inside client/web.ts. The scaffold test invokes tsc in a fresh process, proves the generated project passes, and proves a stray document access fails. * fixup! docs(plugins): phase 4 publish migration after green gate The internal guide and plugin skill now forbid both the DOM lib and triple-slash DOM references. They direct web adapters to declare only the globals used by client/web.ts. * fixup! feat(plugins): phase 1 split runtime entries after green gate Removing the obsolete Babel parser changes the locked npm dependency graph. The macOS Nix desktop gate reported the new fixed-output hash, which this commit records. * fixup! feat(plugins): phase 1 split runtime entries after green gate Reject relative imports that escape the plugin root while continuing to skip resolved node_modules internals. The compiler regression test proves the escaped import is rejected and the dependency-internal fixture remains accepted. * fixup! feat(plugins): phase 1 split runtime entries after green gate Classify absolute imports and reject plugin-authored paths that escape into node_modules. Dependency internals remain exempt based on their importer path. Red-first compiler regressions cover both bypasses, and the existing dependency fixture remains green. * fixup! feat(plugins): phase 1 split runtime entries after green gate Classify canonical esbuild resolution results so dependency-relative and symlink imports cannot escape client/server boundaries. The two compiler regressions failed before the fix and pass afterward. * test(ci): synchronize flaky state transitions Wait for repository watcher registration before emitting buffered ref events, let sidebar order polling retry unlaid-out rows, and wait for the inactive browser parking state before screenshot capture. These changes directly address the three observed CI failures; the affected server, Playwright, and desktop browser tests pass locally. * test(ci): synchronize Mermaid completion layout assertion The Playwright streaming acceptance test exposed a completion remount between visibility and layout sampling. Check the existing completion promise around the measurement so that transition is not reported as diagram loss. * fixup! feat(plugins): phase 1 split runtime entries after green gate Resolve bare package imports before boundary classification so symlinked dependency entries cannot expose server modules to the client bundle. The focused regression proves the bypass and the compiler file passes 20/20. * fixup! feat(plugins): phase 1 split runtime entries after green gate Allow canonical paths only within a matching linked package root while preserving runtime and containment checks for imports that leave it. The linked-dependency regression fails before the fix and compiler tests pass 21/21 afterward. * fixup! feat(plugins): phase 1 split runtime entries after green gate Reject matching package manifests that contain the plugin or live inside it, so linked-dependency roots cannot exempt plugin or workspace files. The ancestor-manifest regression fails before the fix and compiler tests pass 22/22 afterward. * fixup! feat(plugins): phase 1 split runtime entries after green gate Validate plugin-local lexical boundaries before canonical linked-root exemptions and require remembered-root imports to originate inside that root. The linked-root bypass regression fails before the fix and compiler tests pass 23/23 afterward. |

Customize top-level sidebar items (#4203)
* feat(app): customize top-level sidebar items Let users reorder and hide built-in and plugin sidebar rows from Appearance settings while keeping the preference device-local. Add Search as a first-class row and standardize section explanations as header info tooltips. * fix(app): preserve consecutive sidebar preference edits Derive each sidebar change from the latest cached settings and retain unavailable plugin slots while editing the visible list. Keep E2E interaction selectors tied to accessible control names. * test(app): isolate provider settings unit boundary Keep the legacy provider-section test focused on provider behavior now that its shared section shell can render the settings info control. |

Eliminate recurring cross-platform CI flakes (#4171)
* fix(ci): eliminate recent cross-platform flakes Synchronize tests on owned state instead of elapsed time or transient identities. Preserve file rename collision safety when platform file IDs are unavailable. * fix(ci): close follow-up synchronization gaps Keep fetches in flight through buffered-event classification, scope mock agents to navigation tests, and wait for live workspace hydration before opening agent routes. * fix(ci): synchronize browser lifecycle boundaries |

fix(desktop): show browser element annotation editor
The editor was trapped below the resident webview's body-level paint plane in split layouts. Render it through the shared overlay root while tracking the owning pane's bounds. |

fix(desktop): keep element selectors available on loaded pages (#3187)
* fix(desktop): keep element selectors available on loaded pages Annotate element and Screenshot element returned early when a cached load signal said the guest was not ready, even if the current document was complete and executable. Let executeJavaScript own the readiness boundary and keep selector cleanup available in the same stale-signal state. Extend the real Electron browser regression to reproduce the complete-document/stale-signal mismatch through both toolbar actions. * test(desktop): await browser selector injection Poll the guest selector state through the browser bridge instead of assuming injection completes within 250 ms. This keeps the Electron regression deterministic on slower CI hosts. * Harden browser selector session lifecycle * Keep selector E2E fixtures independent * fix(desktop): harden selector and annotation lifecycle * fix(desktop): keep selector PR focused * refactor(desktop): own element selector lifecycle --------- Co-authored-by: Daniel G. feat(app): add Pure black theme (#3012)
* feat(app): add AMOLED and all four Catppuccin themes Add an AMOLED theme (pure black background) and the four official Catppuccin flavors (Latte light, Frappé/Macchiato/Mocha dark) to the appearance picker. Generalize the dark-theme builder to support a light surface variant, register the new themes with Unistyles, and patch all registered theme keys when applying font/syntax appearance settings. * fix(app): localize Catppuccin + AMOLED theme labels across language packs The initial theme commit pasted the English brand/flavor labels into every locale. Localize them following each pack's convention: transliterate Catppuccin and the coffee-flavor names into Arabic/Russian scripts, use katakana/hanzi equivalents in ja/zh-CN, and standard loanwords in fr/es/pt-BR. AMOLED is a universal acronym and stays as-is except where the pack transliterates (Arabic). * fix(app): make Latte terminal ANSI colors readable * test(app): cover appearance theme picker options * refactor(app): scope theme PR to AMOLED * refactor(app): rename AMOLED theme to Pure Black * fix(app): refine Pure black appearance * test(app): wait for sidebar toggle icon * test(app): remove hover timing race --------- Co-authored-by: Mohamed Boudra <boudra.moha@gmail.com> |

Keep desktop browser tabs stable across focus and automation (#2907)
* fix(desktop): preserve browser tabs across focus changes Electron can replace a guest WebContents when a webview is reparented, which reloads the page and can race automation against a destroyed target. Keep each browser guest on one permanent paintable surface and make user and agent resizing share one canonical viewport. * fix(desktop): recover browser surfaces after lifecycle changes * fix(desktop): preserve resident browser lifecycle state * fix(desktop): seed inactive browser viewport |

Skip unrelated required checks without losing their names (#2542)
* fix(ci): skip unrelated required checks cleanly Matrix jobs had to start no-op runners to preserve interpolated required-check names. Static named jobs let GitHub report genuine skipped conclusions while keeping those names stable. * fix(ci): gate changes to install patching script * fix(ci): route cross-package test contracts narrowly * fix(ci): keep routed contracts merge-blocking * fix(server): exclude nested test utilities from builds * fix(ci): cover app-owned native and browser domains * refactor(ci): align tests with runtime domains Own browser specs, desktop specs, and Electron-only app code by stable directories so PR routing does not depend on filename conventions. Keep desktop integration coverage inside the required desktop check. * fix(ci): keep routing and desktop suites isolated The routing regression must run before dependency installation, and desktop Vitest must not collect Playwright-owned specs. * fix(ci): isolate desktop e2e runtime * perf(test): isolate Playwright workers * perf(test): parallelize Playwright within specs * fix(test): keep Playwright file scheduling * fix(test): share dynamic Metro fixture * fix(test): preserve own-host restart fixtures * fix(ci): preserve routed contracts after rebase * Stabilize Playwright wheel-scroll assertions |
